ACLA LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE AND DOMAIN NAME
(Washington, DC) – The American Clinical Laboratory Association (ACLA) launched its newly designed website today. Concurrently with the new website design, the ACLA website domain name will be www.acla.com, and all ACLA staff email addresses will be @acla.com. Both changes, the new website and domain name, are effective today.
“It’s been seven years since ACLA’s website was redesigned, and with the growth of ACLA’s membership, its advocacy issues, and staff it is time for a new website,” said Alan Mertz, President of ACLA. “The new website is much more readable, interactive, and user friendly. With respect to the new ‘acla.com’ domain name, we are making this transition because this shorter domain is much easier to remember and use and will be a much clearer and logical ‘brand’ for ACLA going forward.”
ACLA will continue to own the old “clinical-labs.org” domain so those browsing on the internet or emailing ACLA staff using the old domain will seamlessly be transferred to the new website and to that ACLA staff person. Please use the same staff name then @acla.com. For instance, Alan Mertz’s email was email@example.com and will now be firstname.lastname@example.org.
ACLA represents the leading national, regional, esoteric and ESRD clinical laboratories.
