ACLA Associate Membership
We are pleased to announce that the American Clinical Laboratory Association (ACLA) has an Associate Membership category that will, for the first time, allow health care related companies and organizations including diagnostic manufacturers, non-profits, consultants, investment firms, law firms, information technology, billing firms, and others who work with the laboratory industry to benefit from many of ACLA’s advocacy, education, and collaborative programs as well as meet with the leaders of ACLA member companies.
We are very excited about this opportunity to work more closely with our partners in the larger health care community on the many critical issues facing the laboratory sector. The new associate memberships will offer many benefits including up to date information on laboratory issues; participation on monthly Associate Membership conference calls; regular opportunities to meet with ACLA’s Board, members, and staff; sponsorship, participation and exhibit opportunity at ACLA’s Annual Meeting; automatic sponsorship of the Results for Life value campaign; among many others.
ACLA’s members represent the diversity of laboratories in the United States and include the leading national, regional, specialized and ESRD laboratories. The association is governed by a nine-member Board of Directors representing all of these major types of laboratories. ACLA members meet the highest standards in laboratory medicine today as they are required to be CLIA certified laboratories as well as accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) or an equivalently rigorous accreditation organization. Those full membership requirements stand.
Please see information about the Associate Member benefits, eligibility and dues information. Interested companies and organizations may learn more about Associate Memberships by calling 202-637-9466 or emailing chawk@acla.com.
